Temp IT PMO Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced IT PMO Project Manager for a critical, temporary technology implementation project focused on integrating SuccessFactors with Active Directory. This remote role is an up to 3-month contract assignment requiring a proven leader with at least 10 years of IT PMO and project management experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment of automated workflows.

This role demands strong collaboration and coordination across multiple global teams and departments such as IT infrastructure, HR, Security, and external vendors. The candidate must be able to hit the ground running, lead with confidence, and manage complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with technology project management, enterprise software implementation, and cross-functional team leadership is essential. Prior exposure to SuccessFactors and Active Directory implementations is highly desirable.

This role is fully remote. The assignment duration is up to 3 months.

Your Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT PMO or IT Project Management roles.
• Proven track record managing large-scale, global technology implementation projects.
• Desired experience with ADManagerPlus or with integrating with other third-party IT Service Management tools like ServiceNow.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and dynamic schedules.

Your Role

• Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for the integration of SuccessFactors with Active Directory, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including IT infrastructure, HR, Security, and external vendors to drive project milestones and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
• Facilitate working sessions to gather and validate business and technical requirements, ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Oversee test planning and execution, cutover strategies, hypercare support, and smooth transition to operational teams.
• Proactively identify risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation plans to maintain project momentum.
• Provide confident leadership and clear communication to project teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and accountability in a remote environment.
• Deliver timely status reports and presentations to senior leadership and project governance committees.
