Position Summary
The Quality Control Lead role is a hybrid position responsible for leading the line and ramp operations during assigned shifts while ensuring the quality and safety of fuel facilities and equipment. This position serves as a key point of contact for shift communications, operational oversight, and quality control compliance, maintaining Jet Aviation’s high standards of customer service, safety, and operational excellence.
The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $23.00 - $24.00 hourly which is equivalent to $47,840 - $49,920 annually, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.

- We formally operate 24 hours daily, 7 days weekly.
- This role requires flexibility, as work hours and shifts will vary based on operational needs.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record.
- Basic English language skills with good communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible schedules and in various weather conditions.
- Must obtain NATA Line Service training certification, motor vehicle operating permit (MVOP), and Airport ID Badge within specified timeframes.
- Proven knowledge of refueling procedures, towing techniques, and safety protocols.
Main Responsibilities
Quality Control and Fuel Facility Management
- Perform fuel quality tests on equipment in accordance with ATA form 103 and company guidelines.
- Sump fuel farm tanks and trucks, recording results accurately.
- Inspect fuel farm for proper signage and ensure safety equipment is operational.
- Conduct monthly Millipore tests, document results, and store samples per company and ATA 103 standards.
- Perform acceptance and control checks of fuel received into site-operated fuel storage systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as fuel filter changes and document all activities.
- Assist with audits from airport authorities, fuel suppliers, and company related to fueling facilities.
- Perform periodic checks of all equipment and facilities, documenting findings and reporting discrepancies immediately.
Leadership and Shift Management
- Serve as the primary communication point for the shift, implementing management directives and ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee the overall line operations, including fueling, hangar stacking, towing, aircraft ramp parking, and service equipment management.
- Manage employee adherence to safety policies and procedures, especially in the absence of senior management.
- Perform supervisory duties and provide guidance to team members to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

Ramp and Line Operations
- Execute hand signals to guide aircraft during arrivals and departures.
- Communicate effectively with employees and aircraft crews to provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with aircraft services such as ice, coffee, catering, and cleaning as needed.
- Provide transportation for customers and pilots using courtesy vans or buses.
- Maintain ramp, hangars, and facilities in a clean and organized state, free of debris and clutter.
- Operate vehicles and ground equipment safely and efficiently.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
