Master Data Manager

Position Summary

The Master Data Manager (internally: Manager of Master Data Management) is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data across the organization. With guidance and support from the Senior Director and Data team, this role will lead the development and implementation of MDM strategies, policies, and procedures, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data governance initiatives.

Our Manager of Master Data Management (MDM) will be the architect of reliable, actionable business data across the organization. This is not just about maintaining data—it’s about transforming raw, inconsistent information into a single source of truth that drives global operations and high-stakes business decisions.

As the MDM leader, you’ll own the strategy, governance, and integrity of our master data, while mentoring a small but high-performing team of data specialists. You’ll design and enforce policies, streamline data flows, and deliver the insights that let Jet Aviation move with speed and confidence.

This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least four times weekly from the office. Our ideal candidate will work from our location in West Palm Beach, FL. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $111,000 - $120,000 plus a performance-based bonus up to 15% of annual salary.

Your Profile

You are a data evangelist and strategic problem-solver with the rare ability to balance technical know-how and business leadership. Your experience has taught you that great organizations are built on great data, and you take pride in creating order from complexity.

You bring:

• Formal Training and Education: a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business Admin or a related field.
• Proven MDM Leadership: 7+ years in data management, with 3+ years leading MDM programs or global data governance initiatives.
• Hands-On Data Expertise: Strong experience in data governance, data quality frameworks, data modeling, and master data domains (customer, vendor, product, material, etc.).
• System & Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with enterprise MDM tools like SAP MDG, Informatica MDM, Collibra, or similar platforms.
• Process & Policy Mindset: A track record of developing repeatable processes that turn messy data into trusted business assets.
• Collaborative Leadership: Skilled in mentoring data teams, aligning with cross-functional stakeholders, and influencing executives with clear insights.
• Change Agent Mentality: You thrive in environments where data transformation drives real business outcomes, and you enjoy bringing others along the journey.

Your Role

• Design and Execute the MDM Strategy: Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive master data management framework that supports our global operations, ensuring data is accurate, trusted, and business-ready.
• Champion Data Governance & Quality: Define and enforce data governance policies, taxonomies, and workflows that reduce duplication, eliminate errors, and standardize key data sets across multiple systems.
• Optimize for Business Impact: Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, IT, and executive leadership to ensure decisions are made with confidence, powered by high-quality, unified data.
• Evaluate and Implement MDM Tools: Leverage platforms like SAP MDG, Informatica, Collibra, or similar tools to streamline master data processes and enable automation and self-service reporting.
• Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Mentor and inspire a small data team (2 direct reports) to build expertise in data stewardship, data quality monitoring, and process improvement.
• Drive Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Introduce best practices, automation, and new technologies to increase data efficiency and accuracy, helping the organization stay ahead of industry trends.
• Enable Strategic Projects: Play a critical role in major system migrations, global process harmonization, and digital transformation initiatives, ensuring master data is ready and reliable.
