Jet Aviation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Staffing Intern to support our recruitment teams. This internship offers hands-on experience in recruitment processes, administrative tasks, and industry research, providing valuable exposure to the staffing and human resources field.

 

As a Staffing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the recruitment, placement, and management of aviation professionals. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn about talent acquisition, candidate screening, and workforce planning within the specialized field of aviation staffing. You’ll work alongside industry experts, contribute to impactful projects, and develop skills that will serve you throughout your career.

  • Locations: Teterboro, NJ (TEB); West Palm Beach, FL (PBI Corporate Office)
  • Schedule: June 1st target start, on-site, 20–30 hours per week (no overtime), between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • Compensation: $20–$23 per hour

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field).
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Familiarity with social media and online job boards
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn Salesforce or other applicant tracking system (ATS) tools
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player who thrives in a collaborative setting.

Your Role

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the staffing team, including maintaining and organizing candidate data, and assisting with Salesforce database cleanup to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Recruitment Assistance: Support recruiters by sourcing potential candidates through online job boards, social media platforms, and internal databases. Assist in posting job openings across various channels, screening resumes, conducting initial phone interviews, and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, labor market data, and competitor staffing strategies to inform recruitment efforts and departmental initiatives.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives within the staffing department, contributing ideas and support as needed.
