As the General Manager in Vienna, you will oversee and steer our local operations, leveraging your leadership skills, operational acumen, and unwavering dedication to safety and excellence. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of our Vienna site, upholding the highest standards of safety, service quality, and operational efficiency while working closely with our global teams and partners.

Your Role

 

  • Lead and Grow Jet Aviation Vienna: Take full tactical, operational, and financial ownership of the Vienna site. Define and execute a robust business strategy aligned with customer needs and financial objectives. Establish clear controls and metrics to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Drive Operational Excellence and Customer Focus: Provide strong operational leadership to meet and exceed financial targets while enhancing the site’s contribution to the group. Develop and implement a customer service plan that aligns the site with a customer-first mindset. Personally manage key customer relationships to ensure excellence and loyalty.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships and Business Pipeline: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with customers, aerospace organizations, airport authorities, and the internal sales team. Ensure a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities and successful customer retention.
  • Develop High-Performing Teams and Leadership: Build and lead a motivated team that consistently delivers high performance. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development. Ensure succession planning is in place for key leadership roles.
  • Represent Jet Aviation Vienna Externally and Internally: Act as the primary representative of the Vienna facility within the Jet Aviation Group and externally with regulatory bodies, industry groups, and the General Dynamics network. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, aviation regulations, and environmental, health, and safety policies.
  • Champion Safety, Quality, and Compliance: Oversee the application and continuous improvement of the Safety & Quality Management System (SQMS). Promote a positive, blame-free safety culture that supports the company’s safety and quality policies.
