Position Summary
At Jet Aviation, we craft flight in its smoothest form—and behind every takeoff, there’s a powerful engine of financial strategy driving us forward. As our Director of Financial Planning, Analysis, and Controlling, you’ll step into a central leadership role within our U.S. Finance organization, responsible for ensuring financial clarity, consistency, and confidence across all lines of business. You’ll lead the function that connects data with direction.
This is a pivotal position where day-to-day execution meets long-term vision. From monthly close and consolidated forecasting to data transformation and performance reporting, this role holds the keys to how Jet Aviation in the U.S. tells its financial story—internally and to the broader Group. You’ll directly lead two experienced team members and collaborate daily with a larger network of professionals across Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership, including frequent partnership with our global team in Basel and the corporate functions at General Dynamics.
This role is an office-based position, working at least four times weekly from the office, and might travel up to 25% to support the business. Our selected candidate will work from our location in Teterboro, NJ at the Teterboro airpark. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $75,000 - $110,000, plus a performance-based bonus up to 20% of annual salary.

Your Profile
- You are a collaborative finance leader with at least 7 years’ experience from a broad background in both accounting and FP&A.
- You enjoy coaching others and building cross-functional relationships.
- You are detail-oriented and principled—someone who draws a firm line when needed and asks the right questions.
- You bring solid knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply principles across a range of accounting and finance activities
- You see data not just as numbers, but as insight. You tell stories through dashboards and reports.
- You find fulfillment in helping others succeed and see your work as part of something bigger than yourself.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- You might have a Master’s degree or a CPA certification
Your Role
- Lead all FP&A and controlling activities across Jet Aviation’s U.S. operations
- Manage a team and provide accounting and financial oversight across all lines of business
- Oversee the budget process and coordinate consolidated forecasts and monthly financial reporting
- Analyze and prepare balance sheet, income, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and risk management practices
- Serve as a liaison with Jet Aviation Group Finance in Basel and General Dynamics corporate functions
- Support insurance, tax, ICFR, and audit activities
- Guide proper accounting treatment for new leases and complex scenarios
- Lead Power BI adoption and reporting transformation efforts
- Deliver impactful presentations to senior U.S. and global leadership
