Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially driven Quotation Specialist to join our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) team. This role is responsible for developing accurate project costings, pricing strategies, and competitive quotations for business and corporate aircraft maintenance opportunities.
Working closely with Sales, Procurement, Planning, Production, and Technical teams, you will play a pivotal role in supporting contract acquisition by preparing comprehensive commercial and technical proposals, addressing customer requirements, and ensuring a seamless transition from quotation to project execution. Upon contract award, you will also be responsible for launching approved quotations within the CRM and SAP systems and coordinating the handover to operational teams.

Main Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand customers' aircraft maintenance requirements and project scope.
- Conduct detailed research to support quotation development, including regulatory approvals, parts and kit availability, special tooling requirements, and vendor capabilities.
- Collaborate with Procurement and external suppliers to obtain accurate pricing and lead-time information for parts, kits, and subcontracted services.
- Work closely with Planning and Production teams to determine labor requirements, project schedules, turnaround times, and resource availability.
- Develop project costings, pricing strategies, and comprehensive commercial and technical proposals.
- Ensure all quotations comply with established internal processes, procedures, and approval requirements before release.
- Deliver accurate and timely quotations to customers and support the Sales team throughout the proposal and contract negotiation process.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide technical and commercial clarification as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
- Launch awarded quotations in CRM and SAP systems and initiate invoicing processes in a timely manner.
- Coordinate effective handover of secured projects to Project Preparation, PMO, Operations, and Billing teams.
- Participate in internal review meetings and customer pre-input meetings when required.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quotation Management, Planning, PMO, or MRO operations within a Part 145 maintenance organization.
- Experience supporting aircraft maintenance projects and commercial proposal development.
- Technical knowledge of Boeing 737, Airbus A318/A319/A320, or Airbus A220 aircraft would be an advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of the aerospace and aviation maintenance industry, including OEMs and regulatory requirements.
- Solid knowledge of quotation processes, project costing, and pricing methodologies.
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- Experience using SAP and CRM systems is preferred.
