Position Summary
As a Quotation Specialist you will be in-charge of looking into project costing, develop pricing and draft quotations for business/corporate jets maintenance opportunities. You will support and collaborate with Sales Team to facilitate contract closure with customers including addressing technical questions, pricing strategy discussions, revisions of proposals and transfer to execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Understand customer’s maintenance requirements.
- Perform relevant research required for quote creation including regulatory approval, parts/kits availability, special tools requirement, vendor availability.
- Liaise with procurement and at times liaise directly with vendors on parts/kits/service pricing and availability.
- Liaise with P145 to gather labor hours, production lead-time and project downtime.
- Develop pricing and draft proposals including commercial and technical write-up.
- Ensure all quotations are carried out within established procedures prior to release of quotation to Global Sales Directors.
- On Time Delivery of quotations to customers.
- Collaborate with Sales Director to facilitate contract closure with customers.
- Establish and maintain positive business relationships with customers, attend to their queries expediently.
- Update Sales CRM system timely and accurately.
- Launching of Won quotations and initiate invoice in a prompt manner.
- Proper handover of won quotations to Project Preparation / PMO / Billing team.
- Attend internal meetings and participate in Customer pre-input meetings as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma Holder or equivalent, Mechanical/technical apprenticeship in aviation or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Quotation or Planning/PMO/MRO department in a Part 145 organization.
- Aircraft technical experience in Boeing 737, Airbus 318/319/320/220 would be added advantage.
- Good understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework.
- Strong knowledge on quotation processes and procedures.
- Strong understanding of planning / scheduling processes and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and service-oriented
- Strong in Microsoft office (Word, excel, ppt, viso, outlook)
- Knowledge in SAP

Work Environment
The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
