Your opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for our Singapore and Hong Kong employee populations. This is a standalone position in a team of two, ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in an autonomous environment, is confident in regional statutory compliance, and enjoys driving accuracy and service excellence.
About the role
As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of monthly payroll for Singapore and Hong Kong, including data preparation, validation, statutory reporting, and year-end obligations, and off cycles as required. You will act as the subject-matter expert on CPF, IRAS, MPF, tax, leave, and entitlements, and partner closely with HR , Finance, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate and compliant payroll delivery.

Main Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for SIngapore and Hong Kong employees.
- Ensure full compliance with statuatory requirements.
- Validate payroll inputs including new hires, terminations, allowances, leave, benefits and commissions.
- Liaise with external payroll vendor and internal teams to ensure accuracy, smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare month end payroll reporting, reconciliations and share GL files.
- Respond to payroll enquries, providing clear, timely, and customer-focused support.
- Maintain payroll documentation and audit compliance standards.
- support payroll related projects and process improvements as needed.

What will help you to succeed?

- Minimum 5 years hands on payroll experience, with strong exposure to both Singapore and Hong Kong payroll legislation.
- Confident operating in a standalone role for allocated business units.
- Strong working knowledge of statuatory requirements, filings and associated deadlines.
- High attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and excellent stakeholder communication
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
