Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly professional First Officer to join our Bombardier Global Express (GLEX) flight operations team. As a key member of the flight crew, you will support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of company aircraft while delivering the exceptional service standards expected in business aviation.

Working closely with the Captain, you will contribute to all phases of flight operations, ensuring the highest levels of safety, professionalism, and customer experience for our clients worldwide.

Reporting to the Director of Flight Operations, this role offers the opportunity to operate a world-class business jet in a dynamic international environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Assume command of the aircraft when directed by the Captain.
  • Take over command responsibilities in the event of Captain incapacitation, ensuring the continued safety of the aircraft, passengers, crew, and cargo.
  • Participate in all aspects of flight planning, preparation, execution, and post-flight activities.
  • Review and assess meteorological, navigational, operational, and aeronautical information before each flight.
  • Actively participate in crew briefings and apply effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) practices.
  • Adhere to all operational procedures, checklists, and policies as outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Verify aircraft technical status, performance limitations, and payload requirements prior to departure.
  • Prepare and complete all required flight documentation, including operational flight plans, weight and balance calculations, technical logs, and journey records.
  • Ensure all flight-related documentation is submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and customer service throughout all flight operations.
  • Comply with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and safety management requirements.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) issued by FAA, EASA, UK CAA, or an equivalent recognized authority.
  • Current Bombardier Global Express (GLEX) type rating.
  • Minimum 2,000 hours Total Flight Time.
  • Minimum 300 hours on Bombardier Global Express (GLEX) aircraft type.
  • Experience operating large-cabin business jets; corporate or private aviation experience is preferred.
  • Experience on Bombardier Global XRS, Global 5000, Global 5500, Global 6000, or similar long-range business aircraft is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of international flight operations, aviation regulations, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • Experience conducting international and long-haul operations is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
