FBO Operations Manager

Position Summary
As the FBO Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial performance of the FBO portfolio, with a focus on pricing, commercial agreements, revenue growth, and yield optimisation across handling and ancillary services.
In addition to managing core commercial activities, you will support FBO business development initiatives across the APAC region, partnering with the Business Development Lead to identify and progress growth opportunities. Working closely with Regional Operations, Sales, Finance, and site leadership teams, you will help translate Jet Aviation’s strategy into measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Management
- Own the commercial performance of the assigned FBO portfolio, including revenue, margin, and revenue-per-movement targets across handling and ancillary services.
- Develop and maintain FBO pricing strategies, commercial frameworks, and service agreements.
- Review, negotiate, and manage ground handling and service provider agreements.
- Lead the preparation of commercial proposals, tenders, RFPs, and customer agreements, developing solutions that enhance customer value and revenue opportunities.
- Conduct commercial analysis, forecasting, and reporting on volumes, yield, and market performance to support pricing, investment, and growth decisions.
- Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with key stakeholders, including based operators, OEMs, and trip-support providers.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new revenue streams and service opportunities.
APAC Project Management Support
- Support FBO strategic initiatives across the APAC region through project planning, market analysis, commercial assessments, and preparation of proposals and business materials.
- Coordinate inputs across Operations, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders to support project delivery.
- Maintain project plans, track actions, and monitor progress against timelines to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
General Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of trust, transparency, collaboration, and performance across the FBO team.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, aviation regulations, and Jet Aviation and General Dynamics policies.
- Conduct business ethically and in accordance with the General Dynamics Blue Book.
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commercial, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in commercial, business development, account management, or a similar role, preferably within aviation, FBO, or a service-based industry.
- Proven commercial capability with experience in pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and revenue or P&L management.
- Experience supporting business development activities and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including modelling, forecasting, and performance reporting.
- Good understanding of the business aviation and FBO industry environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the APAC region and globally.
