Position Summary

The Avionics Technician is responsible for the efficient maintenance support of aircraft as maintained by Singapore MRO, and other aircraft, as may be authorised from time to time, by the Manager Part 145, Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, or other authorised delegate. The Avionics Technician is expected to work with general supervision and as required during the execution of various duties. The Avionics Technician shall be conversant with all Company procedures, processes, policies, and workplace protocols relevant to Airworthiness.

Main Responsibilities

Compliance and Regulatory 
― Promote and drive Jet Aviation Values and Compliance policy and procedure to support the desired company and facility culture.  
― Ensure Journals are present at work daily, as well as up to date in line with authority  
― Regulations and RTO requirements.  
― Contribute to the request and management of tooling and equipment prior to and during projects.  
― Assist in monitoring the tool tag system audit twice a day.  
― Notify relevant managers of employee and own non-compliance.  
― Carry out Hangar housekeeping duties for a safe and compliant working environment.  
― Contribute to the overall housekeeping of the hangar facility by ensuring it is clear of FOD at all times.  

Operations 
― Carry out aircraft maintenance, including remove, inspect, install of aircraft components in accordance with relevant procedures and manuals. 
― Request and ordering of spares.  
― Cleaning and painting of aviation equipment and components as required.  
― Un-issuing of spares removal.  
― Creating and updating work orders in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements

― Ability to work in a commercial environment.  
― Show initiative and be proactive with learning.  
― High attention to detail.  
― Ability to work safely and adhere to aviation regulatory and safety requirements performing aircraft maintenance.  
― Show sound level of computer literacy.

― Two years’ related experience as a commercial driver strongly preferred

Work Environment

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
