Position Summary

As Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving the growth of sales and revenue within your assigned territory or vertical—specifically within our Staffing services. You will develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities, nurture existing client relationships, and close high-value deals across our four Staffing offerings. This is an individual contributor role, allowing you to focus fully on high-level strategic sales execution.


This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least three times weekly from the office. Our ideal candidate will work from our location in Scottsdale, AZ. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $100,000 - $110,000. The role is also accompanied by performance-based incentives.

 

We are seeking to fill this position for primary territory coverage in the Western region. The role requires extensive domestic travel, with a strong emphasis on in-person client engagement—meeting customers on-site, attending industry events, and visiting flight departments to build trust, identify opportunities, and drive sales activity.


We are open to remote candidates, with preference given to those located near the following Jet Aviation locations:

  • Scottsdale, AZ (preferred)
  • Burbank, CA
  • Bozeman, MT

 

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and achieving a high win rate in both expanding and challenging market conditions. You are recognized for your ability to open doors and close deals through a well-established professional network, and you understand how to navigate shifting dynamics, adapt your approach, and deliver consistent results.

Your Role

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to target new clients, grow existing accounts, and achieve sales goals in alignment with company objectives.
  • Business Development: Identify and prospect new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold outreach. Develop a robust sales pipeline and forecast revenue.
  • Influencer/Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong connections with key influencers and vendors that align with the company’s brand values and business growth goals, driving revenue through new lead generation, repeat business, and network expansion to enhance sales performance.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, repeat business, and upsell opportunities.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through to closing and post-sales follow-up, ensuring timely and successful delivery of solutions.
  • Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies, product offerings, and client needs.
  • Sales Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on sales performance against targets, analyze trends, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and challenges.
  • Market Insights: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring favorable terms for the company while meeting client needs.
  • Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 7 years of experience in a sales role.
  • Strong ability to close complex deals, manage a sales pipeline, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the value of complex products/services to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate through challenges in the sales process.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
  • College degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

  • Knowledge of aviation technologies such as aircraft range, speed, capacity, landing requirements, etc., and how these might affect the customer’s selection of an aircraft for a particular mission. 
  • Experience in aerospace field sales and some experience with high value or luxury goods/services
  • Pilots license or significant experience with a general aviation manufacturer beneficial
