Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Crew Support Specialist to join our dynamic operations team. This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to be at the heart of business aviation, supporting over 600 frontline pilots and crew members with critical regulatory compliance and training programs. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your expertise ensures safety, efficiency, and excellence in every flight. This position is based on-site operating on a hybrid work schedule, with presence in the office 3 to 4 days per week. Preferably out of our Teterboro, NJ or Scottsdale, AZ locations.

 

Salary ranges are aligned with regional standards and do not include additional premiums.

 

TEB: The hourly rate for this non-exempt position ranges from $31.25 to $40.86, which is equivalent to an annual salary of $65,000 to $85,000 plus a performance-based bonus of up to 5% of the annual salary.

 

SDL: The hourly rate for this non-exempt position ranges from $25.48 to $31.73, which is equivalent to an annual salary of $53,000 to $66,000 plus a performance-based bonus of up to 5% of the annual salary.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant vocational training/technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience; a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
  • Possess 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.
  • Proven ability to instruct, train, and effectively share knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on service orientation.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong team orientation.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintains records for the new hire PRIA (Pilot Records Improvement Act) program
  • Ensure adherence to company and FAA- required Drug and Alcohol programs
  • Oversee Company and Airport ID badge requirements,
  • Manage the new hire Criminal History Background Check (CHRC) program for crewmembers, including required fingerprinting and coordinating of onboarding for crewmembers.
  • Maintain and manage pilot records within the company flight operating system.
  • Create and manager polit training programs in accordance with FAA and company regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and upkeep in company flight operations systems and external databases such as Wyvern and Argus.
  • Maintain the Customs Master Crew List and Flight Crew Manifest (MCL/FCM).
  • Schedule and facilitate initial and recurring training events for crewmembers.
  • Collaborate closely with contract training providers, including slot forecasting, invoice accounting and reconciliation, training approvals, and scheduling.
  • Follow specific company processes and procedures related to these responsibilities and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Provide internal training and coordinate external contractor training, with some travel required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required based on location specifics, such as a safety representative or handling special airport personnel approvals.
