Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking motivated interns to join our Fixed Base Operations (FBO) team. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the fast-paced world of business aviation, working alongside industry professionals and gaining hands-on experience in operational, strategic, and customer-focused aspects of our business.
As an FBO Operations Intern, you will support the daily activities of the Fixed Base Operations team, gaining practical exposure to ground handling, customer service, safety programs, and operational logistics within a dynamic aviation environment. This internship offers insight into the core functions of FBO services, including aircraft handling, facility management, and client interaction.
- Locations: Teterboro, NJ (TEB); West Palm Beach, FL (PBI); Scottsdale, AZ (SDL)
- Schedule: June 1st target start, on-site, 20–30 hours per week (no overtime), between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
- Compensation: $20–$23 per hour
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Aviation Management, Business Administration, Engineering, HR, Finance, or related field).
- Strong interest in aviation operations and customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is an asset; familiarity with aviation software is a plus.
- Willingness to work traditional office hours (20–30 hours per week) on-site.
- Ability to obtain airport ID badge (required).
- Valid driver’s license.
Your Role
- Assist with the coordination of aircraft arrivals and departures, including marshaling, fueling, and ramp services.
- Support customer service representatives in greeting and assisting flight crews, passengers, and visitors.
- Observe and participate in safety and compliance procedures, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and inventory management.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop a comprehensive understanding of FBO operations.
- Collaborate on meaningful projects that influence our business strategies.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and present insights to leadership.
