Technical Operations Liaison Representative

Position Summary:

The position will act a liaison between the two General Dynamic Aerospace companies Jet Aviation and Gulfstream. The Technical Operations Liaison Representative will be located at the Gulfstream facility in Savannah connecting intercompany operational departments in the field of operations with a focus on MRO.    

The goal is to provide technical resources to our related teams across all sites by generating accurate, competitive, and timely support. The baseline annual salary range is: $88,728 -$ $97,601.5.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-3 years experience in aircraft maintenance and MRO project management
• 5-8 years of business aviation and project management experience
• Ability to solve problems creatively
• At least 2 years of experience leading functional/cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of multicultural work environment
• Good understanding cross department process and project management
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others
• Strong initiative and self-direction and willingness to go the extra mile
• High knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
• Strong track-record in managing customer expectations in a matrixed organization
• Communication skills to exchange functional information with all levels of leadership and diverse stakeholders
• Quality driven with a passion for excellence to represent Jet Aviation as a Brand Ambassador

Main Responsibilities:

Strengthening inter-company cooperation through support work by:

• Active supporting Operations (MRO) for ongoing projects
• Supporting and oversee warranty claims
• Act as a liaison between operational departments such as Tech Ops and PMO e.g. for RFA, Warranty Claims
• Supporting global AOG support/Fast Team
• Leading commutation channels to ensure on time exchange of information to and from stakeholder
• Overseeing escalation process
• Determining priorities of Jet Aviation/Gulfstream cooperation
• Determine and define scope and objectives of assigned projects
• Assisting and help communication between shops and relevant Gulfstream departments
• Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network. 

Desired Characteristics:

• Bachelor Degree in business management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Willingness and ability to make decisions
• Sound and accurate judgement
• Knowledge in luxury and/or in high-value shipments management is a plus
• Ability to lead and work with others to achieve desired outcomes
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to solve complex issues
• Strong communication to exchange functional information
• Accurate and thorough; focus on continuous improvement in processes and performance
