Position Summary
The QUALITY ASSURANCE & SAFETY MANAGER Based at Riyadh with responsibilities for the application & implementation of Quality & Safety Systems for Company activities in KSA
Main Responsibilities
Quality, Safety and Environment
- Carry out Internal Quality Audits; report on findings and monitor corrective actions.
- Implement the Aviation Safety Management System and promote the understanding of Human Factors, liaising with the Aviation Safety Manager.
- Liaise as directed with regulatory authorities on Jet Aviation Certificate matters.
- Safety and Quality tasks as required by the Regional Director Quality
- Drive the Risk Assessment activities with regards to the QEHS standards and Company policy.
- Provide training on relevant Safety/Quality Management topics.
Main Responsibilities Cont.
Regulatory and Compliance
- Administer error investigations and timely actions reporting into the Safety Management System (SMS).
- Facilitate as required, Regulatory, Customer and Third-party audits.
- Assist with the maintenance of current procedures; develop new procedures, for compliance with Regulatory and Company requirements.
- Carry out internal quality audits and assessments of suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Make recommendations on competence for Company authorization for inspection and quality functions, and approve
- Actively support and participate in the Company core values and policies and continuous improvement strategies.
- Audit of products, processes and management systems.
- Oversee compliance against Company Manuals and Regulatory requirements.
- Administer Approved Capability List
- Monitor Regulatory (aviation and business) approvals/renewals
- Control and maintain required technical data and monitor regulators for regulatory change.
- Administer investigations of incidents and errors when requested.
- Identify and investigate near misses.
- Make recommendation for implementation of preventive actions and process improvements.
- Actively support the Company OH&S Management program.
- Coordinate SAG and SRB requirements per ASMS.
- Develop local Emergency Response Plan (acting ASM and prime contact in case of emergency)
- Provide assistance and guidance Engineering and other staff
- Work in conjunction with the Marketing and technical staff across the company
- Liaise with Suppliers/ Vendors in relation to compliance and quality matters.
- Administer local Approved Suppliers List
- Make recommendation on training needs
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 8 years technical experience in the Aviation Industry
- Holder of Part 66 License/equivalent or Engineerinng degree
- Trained and experienced Quality Auditor.
- Knowledge of Safety and Risk management policies.
- Knowledge of OH&S and Environment requirements. (OHS qualified)
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence others by encouraging and mentoring.

- Process minded.
- Communicate positively with Company staff, Management, Customers, and external parties

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
