Position Summary

As Aircraft Maintenance Planner you will be managing and monitoring the aircraft project preparation and documentation process in accordance with the applicable Jet Aviation procedures, aviation regulations and customer requirements. Furthermore, you will be monitoring and communicating the aircraft project status with internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Administration of the Work Order (WO) register 
  • Evaluation of KKIA Capability versus the work scope
  • Review of the operator’s aircraft maintenance program before scheduled maintenance vision
  • Preparing Tooling, Materials and Maintenance procedures
  • Establish Work Order (WO) and issue work packages for aircraft and component maintenance.
  • Establish work reports, logbook entries and Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) statements
  • Assist the dedicated project coordinators to ensure congruency of the work documents with all work that has been accomplished and cross checking that the required documentation is properly completed and signed
  • Administration of the respective aircraft records.
  • Consolidation of the completed work orders for invoicing.
  • The observation of the relevant procedures of the Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE)
  • Implementation, where necessary, of remedial (corrective and preventive) actions
  • Promotion of quality consciousness.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience within a Part 145 Business Aviation MRO Planning Department.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Degree or a Diploma is a pre-requisite.  
  • Knowledge of OEM support functions for Gulfstream, Bombardier or Dassault aircraft types is required.
  • In depth understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework.
  • PC literate with MS Office, MS Project. SAP familiarity is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); any other language is a plus.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
