Position Summary
As a Trainer in our FBO, you will be responsible for developing the capabilities of our new and existing employees. You will ensure that we have a team that can meet its current and future business objectives and our customers' needs by delivering quality services according to Jet Aviation’s safety standards.
Aviation operates on a dynamic schedule, things can change fast, and our success depends on team members who can adapt. We are looking for team members who thrive in a dynamic, around-the-clock operation and are open to working a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the operation, customers, and crews. The schedule for this role will mainly be 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility to work A shift and B shift for observation and new hire transitioning. Some travel may be required for training seminars/ conferences.
The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $23 - 25 hourly which is equivalent to $47,000- $52,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma/ GED or equivalent required.
- Line and Ramp services vocational training/ technical apprenticeship or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in the field of Line & Ramp Services having full knowledge of all related processes and procedures including NFPA 407: Standard of Aircraft Fuel Servicing; ATA Specification 103: Standard for Jet Fuel Quality Control at Airports and Fuel Storage Area (SIDA) Regulations.
- Must be able to obtain a Certificate from NATA Line Service training program within 60 days of employment.
- Ability to effectively present information, instruct, share knowledge and respond to questions.
- Currently hold a valid driver’s license.
- Proficient English language and communication skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct theoretical and practical ground operations training targeting learning objectives and required job competencies.
- Monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs and results, develop new and modify existing training programs to make sure that relevant, accurate and up-to-date information is presented.
- Deliver training that is active, relevant and draws on the experiences of the training participants.
- Determine training effectiveness by frequently checking student comprehension and understanding throughout the training period.
- Post training follow-up using observations and interviews to verify that learning objectives were met and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements.
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.

The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
