As we continue to deliver complex completion, refurbishment, and upgrade programs, we are looking to connect with proactive and results-driven professionals who can strengthen supplier collaboration, enhance execution discipline, and help ensure program success from concept through delivery.
Jet Aviation is building a talent pool for potential Supply Chain Project Manager opportunities in 2027 at our Basel site. In this role, you would play a central part in managing supplier interfaces across the full program lifecycle. You would contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from cabin refurbishment and upgrades to the design, production, and installation of bespoke interior solutions. You would benefit from a home office arrangement of two days per month.
Your role
- Lead Supplier Collaboration Across the Program Lifecycle: Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers throughout all phases of completion and refurbishment projects. You would ensure effective coordination, clear communication, and strong alignment between external partners and internal stakeholders to support smooth project execution.
- Drive Material and Service Readiness for Project Success: Coordinate the supply of materials and services in line with program requirements, delivery milestones, and operational priorities. You would help ensure that supplier output supports project timelines, quality expectations, and customer commitments.
- Monitor Supplier Performance and Delivery Reliability: Track supplier productivity, quality, and schedule adherence with a particular focus on critical and long lead-time items. You would identify risks early, escalate where needed, and work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain momentum and delivery confidence.
- Manage Risks and Resolve Supply Chain Challenges Proactively: Anticipate potential disruptions and implement mitigation plans to protect project objectives. You would take an active role in resolving delivery issues, managing claims, negotiating refunds where applicable, and supporting timely decisions in a fast-paced project environment.
- Support Financial Control and Budget Transparency: Monitor project material budgets, forecast requirements, and analyze variances to support financial performance. You would contribute to cost visibility and help ensure that supply chain decisions are aligned with overall program and business objectives.
- Ensure Stakeholder Alignment and Reporting Discipline: Provide regular updates on supplier status, material readiness, risks, and performance trends. You would support transparent communication across project teams and leadership to enable informed decision-making and predictable execution.

Who you are
- Execution-Focused Supply Chain Professional: You bring solid experience in supply chain, procurement, or project execution and understand how to translate project requirements into structured supplier coordination.
- Commercially Aware and Performance Driven: You understand the importance of balancing cost, schedule, quality, and service. You take ownership of outcomes, work with a strong sense of accountability, and remain focused on delivering practical and measurable results.
- Strong Communicator and Relationship Builder: You build effective working relationships with suppliers, project teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. You communicate clearly, influence constructively, and know how to navigate challenges with professionalism and credibility.
- Proactive and Solution Oriented: You are comfortable working in dynamic environments where priorities can shift quickly.
- Educational and Professional Background: You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, or have completed professional training combined with equivalent years of relevant experience. You bring 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Project Management.
- Language and Industry Expertise: You are fluent in English, and additional language skills in French or German would be an advantage. A background in aviation is preferred; experience in a similarly highly regulated industry is also valued.
