Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Lead and support engineering tasks within both operational and production environments, focusing on the design and installation of cabin components and assemblies.
- Analyze engineering challenges and develop practical solutions from both mechanical design and production perspectives.
- Develop and implement standards and procedures to ensure the highest quality in mechanical design and production engineering.
- Drive workflow improvements across the Mechanical & Production Engineering organization, optimizing for manufacturing requirements, cabin design, or product support.
- Capture best practices and lessons learned, defining methods and tools to improve engineering data quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance inventory and standards usage.
- Represents Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university (preferably in aviation or a related field).
- At least 6 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in completions projects and participation in complex technical assignments.
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and tools relevant to mechanical and production engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical tasks in highly collaborative, multicultural environments—ideally during EVP, IR, or In-Service phases, including fuselage configuration and cabin standards.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is essential, as you will collaborate closely with directors and colleagues across our global network.
