Position Summary

Based in Madrid, you will join Jet Aviation’s Stress Engineering team, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of materials databases, engineering processes, and qualification data supporting the design, production, and maintenance of VIP aircrafts.

You will play a key role in driving innovation, sustainability, and technical excellence across Materials & Processes Engineering, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on material selection, certification activities, supplier management, and R&D initiatives focused on lightweight, high-performance, and sustainable solutions for business aviation.

What you will do

  • Support engineering teams in the selection, qualification, and certification of materials and manufacturing processes for VIP aircraft interiors.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve materials specifications, procedures, databases, and technical documentation to ensure compliance and engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on new technologies, qualification programs, procurement support, and process optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and environmental regulations such as REACH and RoHS while supporting eco-design principles.
  • Lead and contribute to R&D and continuous improvement projects focused on sustainability, lightweight solutions, cost reduction, lead-time optimization, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Provide engineering support across P21J, P21G, and P145 organizations, including participation in the development of certifiable technical solutions and structural analysis activities.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience within aerospace, aviation, or a similar engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of materials engineering fundamentals, qualification methods, certification activities, and engineering standards.
  • Experience working with technical specifications, qualification programs, and engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and environmental compliance standards such as REACH and RoHS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory; French and/or German is a plus.
