Position Summary

Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic and challenging environment? Join our Engineering team as a Mechanical Engineer intern. 

During your internship, you will actively contribute to the development, standardization, and optimization of our design and engineering processes. In this role, you will support ongoing projects, assist in creating 3D models, drawings, and engineering orders. You will contribute to technical inspections, design activities, project documentation, and support engineering teams by following established processes and driving project success. This internship provides valuable exposure to real-world engineering challenges and the chance to develop your skills alongside experienced aerospace professionals. 

Your Role

  • Create 3D models, drawings, and engineering orders.
  • Support manufacturing and installation processes.
  • Maintain and update cloud-based project data.
  • Integrate and record lessons learned into active projects.
  • Apply a design-to-weight/schedule/cost/quality mindset aligned with project requirements.
  • Proactively react to risk items and project roadblocks.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with certification and compliance documentation.
  • Support standardization and classification efforts across engineering.
  • Assist in the development of engineering tools, methods, and processes.
  • Support testing activities, including ground and flight tests.
  • Assist with technical aircraft inspections.
  • Support ITCM deliverables and follow layout & design principles during upfront phases.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with engineering partners. 

Your Profile

  • Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline such as aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, aeronautical or industrial engineering or related program (Matriculation during the entire internship period is required).
  • Aviation background and Aerodynamic experience preferred.
  • English proficiency required; French and/or German are an asset.
  • Familiarity with 3D modeling and engineering drawings (Siemens NX, TeamCenter, AutoCAD, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of design and technical documentation.
  • Strong willingness to learn and follow established processes.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to develop technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
