Position Summary
Join our team for a 6-month Master thesis internship to support our commitment to upholding stringent certification standards is vital to delivering high-performance aerospace solutions. We are currently seeking a driven and detail-oriented intern to support loads analysis and simulation for large aircraft structures. This role offers hands-on experience with advanced engineering tools and real-world structural challenges. This internship offers a dynamic environment to develop your skills, expand your knowledge, and work alongside a motivated, multi-cultural team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
Your Role
• Explore the dynamic field of aircraft loads estimation in alignment with international aviation standards.
• Contribute to the development and application of computational methodologies for load prediction and compliance evaluation, gaining hands-on experience with simulation techniques.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of regulatory load requirements for aircraft, with a focus on EASA CS-25, specifically CS 25.341 on gust conditions.
• Perform comparative studies of gust types and sensitivity analyses on key input parameters.
• Assist in developing and validating analytical workflows through reference case studies or simplified models.
• Perform comparative evaluations of different load scenarios and analyze the influence of key input parameters.
Your Profile
• Ongoing university studies in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundation in aircraft loads, flight mechanics, and aircraft structures.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as EASA CS-25 is an advantage.
• Experience with Python, AVL, FEMAP, or NX Nastran is beneficial.
• Proactive, analytical, and quality-oriented approach to engineering problems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
