Position Summary

Integrated within the Engineering Department, you will manage and ensure consistency, accuracy, and integration of 3D virtual aircraft models and product data structures across development lifecycles supported by the Mechanical Leader and the DMU Coordinator. You will also maintain configuration control and verify that the configured DMU aligns with design intent and program baselines.

Your Role

  • Provide the project team with the official (and clear) cabin/fuselage environment: layout showing per area if it's CAO-Pictures-drawing-PDF-unknown area.
  • Based on the available DMU data, identify at-risk areas and build the aircraft environment.
  • Determine and provide stay out zone: fuselage and soundproofing, aircraft door opening.
  • Determine and provide OEM units access keep out zone + maintenance frequency.
  • Post-treat point cloud from 3D scanner to mesh usable in our CAD system as per aircraft references.
  • Determine and provide heat dissipation layout.
  • Perform room-level clash detection, steps & gaps identification.
  • Perform compliance review supported by the certification engineer.
  • Weight saving and cost saving remarks.
  • Check JET units access keep out zone.
  • Support the leader during the project (i.e. presentations, analysis, etc.).
  • Transfer and optimize 3D OEM data to the JET network for environment creation.
  • Processes and tools development applicable to DMU Integration.
  • Deal with a lot of interfaces and departments, so good social skills will be appreciated.

Who You Are

  • Degree or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in a DMU Integration role.
  • Proficiency with CAE and CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX, Teamcenter, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Knowledge of CFD is an advantage.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Spanish (B2 level or higher).
  • Experience working in international environments and projects.
  • Good and positive communication skills and a motivated team-oriented approach.
  • Experience working in a highly demanding environment.
