Position Summary
The PMO Planner reports to the Senior Manager Planning to support the planning functions and overall maintenance operations.
Main Responsibilities
- To be Primary point of contact for customers Maintenance projects
- To perform ‘resource planning’ assessments for the requested work, to include
- Appropriate NAA extent of approval and scope of work (MOE Part 1, Subpart 1.9 or FAA Ops Spec),
- Qualified Staff,
- Staff Numbers,
- Approved Data,
- Sufficient man hours available within product capacity plan,
- Suitable Maintenance Environment (LM),
- Hangar Space (BM),
- Ground Support Equipment (GSE),
- Tooling and Equipment,
- Parts and Materials
- Logistics
- To open and compile maintenance workpacks as per internal procedures
- To take responsibility and ownership of assigned projects by the PM, or delegate
- To obtain formal workorder acceptance from Engineering management, and relevant customer approvals such as acceptance forms, and ensure all information is present/correct.
- To assess maintenance tasks against the following criteria, and highlight for engineering as per internal procedures –
- Repetitive defects
- Aircraft technical logbook items or deferred defects
- EWIS/CDCCL or fuel tank safety related items
- Critical maintenance tasks or duplicate inspections
- To coordinate with procurement for the project materials and tools required on a daily basis
- Progressively develop workpacks against client requests or aircraft defects
- Provide customer updates on a daily basis via email or more if required
- Coordinate with respective departments on client requests, such as Accounts/Supply chain or others
- Perform a review of completed workpacks prior to aircraft release, per internal procedures
- Ensure a final acceptance form has been distributed prior to aircraft release
- Work order billing/invoicing
- Ensure aircraft warranty status on every input and update the respective teams.
- To coordinate with OEM / Warranty program for any warranty claim.
- To coordinate any AOG event by establishing a recovery plan and duly advise customers on the progress
- Updating of the CAFAM system upon completion of maintenance events
- To highlight any major defects or interruption to planned operator schedules to engineering management on a timely basis.
- Reverse function support to SC department when needs must as required.
- Progressively update the line maintenance handover board online in the respective area
- Other duties as directed by the Company
Minimum Requirements
-
Liaison experience with the HKCAD, FAA, EASA and/or other aviation industry agents.

Working knowledge of inspection procedures, methods, equipment and accepted industry standards.
- High IT competency (e.g., maintenance planning software, ERP systems)
