Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Flight Engineer) to support the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of A319 aircraft.
The role combines in-flight technical support with aircraft maintenance responsibilities, including pre- and post-flight inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification, and coordination of maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with Flight Operations, CAMO, maintenance teams, ground handling providers, and technical service representatives to ensure the highest standards of aircraft safety, reliability, and operational readiness.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for aircraft operations in accordance with company procedures and CAMO instructions.
- Conduct aircraft preparation and pre- and post-flight inspections.
- Monitor aircraft technical status and report defects, irregularities, and maintenance requirements to the relevant teams.
- Provide technical assistance to the cockpit and cabin crew as required.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance in accordance with approved work orders and procedures.
- Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects within the scope of applicable authorisations and procedures.
- Support ground handling activities and coordinate aircraft servicing requirements with ground handling agents.
- Operate as a flight crew member when required by Flight Operations and in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Assist with the sourcing and procurement of aircraft parts and materials for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Liaise with OEM and technical service representatives regarding aircraft technical issues.
- Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records, work packages, and associated documentation.
- Support the maintenance and serviceability of ground support equipment and monitor calibration requirements where applicable.
- Perform inspection and certification duties within the scope of applicable authorisations and company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable aviation regulations, maintenance manuals, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
- Support audits, investigations, and other technical or operational activities as required.
- Perform other duties as required to support the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant aircraft maintenance qualification, mechanical/technical apprenticeship, or equivalent aviation maintenance experience.
- Valid aircraft maintenance licence, such as EASA Part-66 B1/B2, FAA A&P, or an equivalent licence recognised by the applicable aviation authority.
- Relevant aircraft type ratings; A319/A320 family experience is highly desirable.
- Additional aircraft type ratings are advantageous.
- Previous experience in line maintenance, troubleshooting, and defect rectification.
- Good understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures, aviation regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read, understand, and complete technical documentation in English.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work efficiently in a dynamic operational environment.
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Flight Operations, CAMO, maintenance, and other stakeholders.

Work Environment
The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
