Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly professional Gulfstream G800 Captain to join our flight operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to operate one of the world’s most advanced ultra-long-range business jets while delivering the highest standards of safety, professionalism and VIP service.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the G800, working closely with the Director of Flight Operations and the wider flight operations team.
Approximately 250 flight hours per year are expected, with extensive international and VIP operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, crew, passengers and cargo.
- Conduct all flights in accordance with the company’s Operations Manual, SOPs, applicable regulations and industry best practices.
- Exercise sound command judgement and maintain the highest standards of flight safety and operational discipline.
- Ensure all required checklists, procedures and operational requirements are strictly followed.
- Maintain precise navigation and ensure compliance with applicable minimum altitudes, aircraft limitations and operating procedures.
- Manage fuel planning and ensure adequate fuel reserves are maintained throughout the flight.
- Coordinate and effectively manage the flight crew to ensure excellent CRM and airmanship.
- Maintain close coordination with the cabin crew to ensure all cabin safety and passenger requirements are met.
- Ensure passengers receive appropriate safety briefings and that emergency equipment and procedures are properly addressed.
- Complete all required flight, technical and operational documentation and logs.
- Report incidents, occurrences and other operational matters in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable aviation regulations, company procedures and international operating requirements.
- Represent the company with the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, conduct and appearance.
- Deliver an exceptional level of service to VIP passengers while maintaining safety as the highest priority.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid ATPL — FAA, UK CAA, EASA or equivalent accepted.
- Gulfstream G800 type rating preferred, although non-type-rated candidates will be considered.
- Previous Gulfstream experience strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Captain on business jets or other relevant aircraft.
- Strong international and/or VIP aviation experience preferred.
- Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of Crew Resource Management (CRM) and modern business aviation operations.
- Professional, calm and adaptable, with the ability to operate effectively in a demanding international environment.
- Willingness to undertake international travel and flexible working schedules.

The employee must be able to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
