Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer – Flight Services EMEA to support and continuously enhance our safety and compliance performance. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with national and international aviation safety standards, fostering a strong safety culture, and supporting operational excellence across Flight Operations, Training, and CAMO.
Your role
- Hazard & Risk Management: Identify operational hazards, conduct risk assessments, and monitor the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
- Safety Performance: Analyze safety data and provide regular safety performance reports to the Safety Review Board.
- Safety Management System: Maintain and continuously improve SMS documentation and processes.
- Safety Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor on flight safety and regulatory compliance matters.
- Investigations: Initiate and follow up on internal occurrences and accident investigations.
- Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Audit & Compliance: Plan and conduct audits across Flight Operations, Training, and CAMO; identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
- Data & Trends: Identify trends, weaknesses, and systemic risks within reporting and safety systems.
- Flight Data Monitoring: Support and contribute to the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) program.
- Subcontractor Oversight: Monitor subcontracted activities to ensure compliance with agreed standards.
- Training & Awareness: Deliver safety and compliance training, including onboarding of new personnel.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes, propose solutions, and ensure corrective actions are effective and sustainable.

Your profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the aeronautical industry, preferably within a comparable organization
- Practical experience applying aviation safety standards and safe operating practices (e.g. Flight Duty Limitations)
- Solid knowledge of operational requirements and procedures in accordance with OM-A
- Knowledge of AOC operation specifications
- Familiarity with management systems, preferably in an aviation environment
- Practical experience with MS Office, Leon Software, and Quickbase DB
- Knowledge of Human Factors (HF) principles within ICAO and EASA frameworks
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and leadership skills with a commitment to a positive safety culture
