Position Summary

The Aircraft Sales Director – Rotary Middle East is responsible for developing and delivering Jet Aviation’s rotary-wing aircraft sales strategy across the Middle East. The role will drive new Bell aircraft sales while establishing and expanding Jet Aviation’s pre-owned aircraft sales business across relevant market segments.

The position owns the development of a high-value sales pipeline, customer relationships, market intelligence, transaction execution, and profitable commercial outcomes. It will engage with aircraft owners, operators, government entities, corporations, family offices, financial stakeholders, and other senior decision-makers.

As a senior representative of Jet Aviation, the Aircraft Sales Director will contribute to the broader development of the business, work closely with operational and corporate functions, and help ensure that customer commitments are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years’ proven success in technical sales within a multicultural environment, preferably in aircraft, helicopter, aerospace, defence, or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering sales results and developing new business, including experience with new and/or pre-owned aircraft sales. Bell experience is highly desirable.
  • Broad understanding of helicopter operations across multiple market segments, with the ability to engage credibly with technical, operational, commercial, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong Middle East experience, including an established network of aircraft owners, operators, customers, brokers, partners, and other relevant industry contacts.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior customer relationships, including effective engagement with C-suite executives and government or institutional decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, including sales forecasting, budgets, pricing, margins, and transaction economics.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex sales contracts in a highly regulated and compliance-driven environment.
  • Strong market intelligence capabilities, including monitoring customer needs, aircraft values, competition, industry trends, and regional developments.
  • Strategic, proactive, and results-oriented approach, with the ability to develop sales opportunities, build a sustainable pipeline, and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-management skills, combined with sound judgment, integrity, teamwork, and a genuine passion for aviation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the rotary aircraft sales strategy for the Middle East, aligned with Jet Aviation’s broader business objectives and commercial plans.
  • Drive new Bell aircraft sales across the region while developing and expanding Jet Aviation’s pre-owned rotary aircraft business, without limitation to a specific OEM.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities, including aircraft sourcing, acquisitions, trade-ins, consignment, remarketing, and the sale of new and pre-owned aircraft.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through market development, customer engagement, strategic networking, industry events, and effective relationship management.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with aircraft owners, operators, government entities, corporations, family offices, brokers, OEM representatives, and other senior decision-makers.
  • Lead aircraft sales transactions from opportunity identification through negotiation, contracting, delivery, and post-sale relationship management, ensuring customer commitments are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
  • Negotiate sales agreements and commercial terms in collaboration with Legal, Finance, Compliance, Technical, and other relevant Jet Aviation departments, ensuring adherence to applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Deliver agreed revenue, margin, pipeline, forecasting, and budget objectives, while maintaining accurate CRM records and providing timely sales, market, and business development reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the rotary aviation market, including customer needs, aircraft values, competition, industry trends, regulatory developments, and regional opportunities.
  • Represent Jet Aviation and the Bell aircraft portfolio at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and other relevant forums, while contributing as a senior member of the business leadership team and supporting broader strategic and operational priorities
