Position Summary

At Jet Aviation, we are passionate about delivering excellence in business aviation services worldwide. We’re looking for a talented Senior Project Manager – Customer Projects to join our Geneva team. This is a key role where you’ll drive the success of aircraft maintenance projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Your mission

Coordinate scheduled maintenance and AOG inputs:
 

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless scheduling and resource management while adjusting schedules according to their needs.
  • Ensure all required documentation and approvals are ready and available as applicable.
  • Work closely with the Director of Maintenance to optimize resources (staff & hangar space), ensuring timely project start & efficiency.
     

Coordinate maintenance project preparation:
 

  • Oversee the preparation process, from creating work packages to ensuring parts and materials are ready.
  • Address any special customer requests, evaluate risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure everything is set for a successful project.
  • Organize and lead incoming meetings with customers and aircraft supervisors.
     

Support aircraft supervisors during project:
 

  • Manage labor, parts, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring the team has everything needed to address maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate Engineering or technical support with OEM’s as required.
  • Facilitate timely defect rectifications and ensure customer approvals have been received.

Deliver top-tier customer support:
 

  • Provide daily updates on progress, ensuring customers are well-informed and satisfied.
  • Organize customer visits, promptly address any concerns, and resolve technical or financial issues with professionalism.
     

Oversee billing & financial coordination:
 

  • Take charge of the billing process for maintenance projects, ensuring accurate quotations that cover labor, parts, subcontractors, and all associated fees.
  • Manage cost allocation between all parties involved (customer, OEM, contract coverage) to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Oversee down payments to ensure all costs are covered before aircraft release.
  • Review and assess project margins to guarantee profitability before final invoices are issued, ensuring smooth coordination of payments.
     

Manage project cleanup & documentation:
 

  • Guarantee all release documents and work packages are complete and accurate, providing a seamless handover to customers.
  • Perform maintenance projects cleanup after release to ensure that unused parts are returned to stock
  • Coordinate projects scanning and shipment to customer providing technical assistance.

Your profile

  •  5+ years of experience in project management or technical administration, ideally within aviation.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent Higher Education.
  • Strong technical understanding of aviation (experience with Gulfstream or Bombardier aircraft is a plus).
  • A proactive mindset, with the ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to stay cool under pressure and adapt to fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent team spirit with ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with SAP, CAMP, or CMP is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
