Position Summary


Join our multi-tasking team at Jet Aviation Geneva to support the Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tooling, and vehicles. You will play a key role in ensuring exceptional levels of service and quality for both internal and external customers. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, and continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes within the team and across the facility.

Your role

 

As a Logistics Agent, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Operate the store and its sub-departments (Shipping, Tools, and GSE) in collaboration with the Stores & Facility Supervisor.
  • Support in-house maintenance of tools, GSE, and test sets in the Tool Shop, and organize them within the workshops.
  • Perform in-house repairs or installations as required for the facility.
  • Propose improvement measures to the Director of Maintenance Operations regarding GSE.
  • Ensure availability of GSE for projects, as discussed in the daily production maintenance meetings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized GSE area, ensuring all equipment is ready for use, while promoting shared responsibility among all employees for keeping their work areas tidy.
  • Assist technicians and maintenance personnel in selecting appropriate tools for tasks.
  • Ensure vehicles and GSE are clean, organized, and compliant with Quality and Safety Policies.
  • Manufacture or improve GSE upon request from the Sr. Manager SCM & Facilities or Supervisor, following MTX department standards.
  • Wash and clean fuel tanks and perform vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure project-related storage shelves are available and organized.
  • Prepare all areas for audits and maintain compliance with Quality and Safety standards.
  • Perform duties assigned by the Logistics Specialist or Sr. Manager SCM & Facilities.
  • Collaborate actively with other departments.
  • Adhere to all Jet Aviation policies and guidelines related to Health, Safety, Security, and the Environment (HSSE).

Your profile

 

  • Completed apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar industry.
  • Experience in an aviation environment is advantageous.
  • Professional or industry qualification in electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a desire to exceed expectations, both internally and externally.
  • Flexible, proactive, and team-oriented.
  • Logical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Language skills: French fluent, English minimum B1, German is a plus.
