Your Opportunity
Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting defence aviation? Jet Aviation is seeking a dedicated Ground Handler to join our team, supporting the operations PC-21 aircraft.
Your Responsibilities
- Safely marshal, tow, and position Pilatus PC-21 aircraft in accordance with defence and company procedures.
- Support all ground handling activities, including refueling, loading and unloading equipment, and ramp operations specific to military training environments.
- Operate ground support equipment such as tugs, GPU units, and fire extinguishers, ensuring all equipment is maintained and ready for use.
- Conduct aircraft cleaning
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with flight crews, maintenance teams, and operations staff to coordinate timely aircraft movements and mission readiness.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure ramp environment, supporting the unique requirements of defence operations.
- Assist with additional operational and support tasks as required by the Defence Support Operations team.
What will Help you too Succeed
- Previous experience in ground handling, preferably within a defence or military aviation environment.
- Familiarity with Pilatus PC-21 or similar military trainer aircraft is highly regarded.
- Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and commitment to following strict protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and high-security environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, this may including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required by defence operations.
- Valid driver’s license required; airside driving permit and security clearance are advantageous.
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
