Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Flight Line Technician to join our team at PTS East Sale.
 
In this role, you will provide efficient maintenance support for PC-21 aircraft, undertaking flight line and minor hangar maintenance activities. You will contribute to the safe, reliable and timely operation of aircraft while ensuring all maintenance work, records and certifications meet applicable requirements.

This Full Time position offers an Annual Salary Package which starts from AUD$92,237 to $101,0181 plus Super plus Military Bonus plus OT. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform preparation for flight activity
  • Participate in Flight Line Planning activities as required.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance predominantly in a flight line setting
  • Ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified.
  • Carry out line maintenance functions.
  • Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
  • Ensure FOD control procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies
  • Ensure data used is current and applicable
  • Ensure Tool control requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure at all times documentation is correctly raised and completed.
  • Assist with defect analysis and investigations.
  • Carry out aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspection
  • Carry out aircraft towing and repositioning.
  • Carry out aircraft refueling.
  • Carry out aircraft marshalling in accordance with appropriate order.
  • Other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time to time.

What will Help you to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer experience with a minimum of two years’ aircraft experience.
  • Formal training in line maintenance inspections and specific maintenance tasks.
  • The ability and willingness to undertake further training through an OEM-endorsed organisation.
  • The ability to meet the requirements for security clearance at the relevant RAAF Base.
  • Knowledge of CASA regulations.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety and environmental requirements.
  • Previous experience with PC-9, PT6 and/or glass cockpit aircraft is desirable.
