Your Opportunity
You will be responsible for supporting the PTS Aeronautical Life Support Equipment (ALSE) within our defence contracts.
Your Responsibilities
- Pre-flight, post-flight and bay servicing of aircrew life support equipment
- Bay servicing of aircraft personal survival packs
- Kitting and fitting out of aircrew with their personal life support equipment
- Maintenance of ‘wet-drill’ training equipment
- Management of ALSE & associated explosive ordnance
- Configuration management of ALSE within PTS Maintenance Management System
- Provide ALSE service at deployed locations as identified within the Daily Flying program
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with PTS stakeholders including Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA), Pilatus and the Australian Defence Force (ADF)
- Foster a sense of ‘Safety First’ within the Jet Aviation maintenance team
- Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual
- Promote the continual improvement processes including LEAN methodologies
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network
What will help you too succeed
- Maintenance Management Experience
- Certificate III Aeronautical Life Support and Furnishings or equivalent
- Demonstrated understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance, both civil & military (Part 145)
- Computer Literate in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience in a Customer Focused Work environment with multiple priorities and project deadlines
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise work loads
- Customer service and safety focused with excellent communications and people skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work autonomously, and consistently deliver results while maintaining a high level of personal accountability
- Strong personal values corresponding with Jet Aviation values - Trust, Honesty, Alignment, Transparency
