We are looking for an enthusiastic Trade Assistant to join our growing RBIHA team! 

Your Responsibilities

As a Trade Assistant you will learn a range of different tasks across the RBIHA business under the direction and instruction of experienced qualified technicians including, but not limited to; 

  • Paint removal, repair and preparation work processes  
  • Paint application techniques on both composite & metal blades 
  • Assist in following work scopes from assigned projects , maintain required records and ensure they are complete meeting  customer requirements.
  • Perform tasks as directed to correct or prevent over-runs.
  • Ensure maintenance performed on components is conducted in compliance with the Civil Aviation regulations. 

 

What will help you to succeed?

  • Well developed hand skills with an intermediate skill level when using various power tools correctly and efficiently.
  • An interest in or working knowledge of spray painting, paint removal and preparation.
  • Willingness to gain an understanding of aviation regulatory requirements for aircraft maintenance.
  • Computer literate at basic level in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and Microsoft Outlook, or similar programs.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn on the job.
  • Proactive and results focused.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and autonomously.
