Position Summary

Receiving and stores inspection in the stores department.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in engineering/business/purchasing or related discipline with certification or coursework in production management, supply chain management, inventory control management, or forecasting highly desirable, or equivalent combination of education and experience whereby requisite knowledge, skills and abilities have been demonstrated
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role 
  • UAE manual driving license mandatory

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments from freight forwarders and record inbound shipment details in Excel
  • Receive incoming aircraft parts, materials, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures and aviation regulatory requirements
  • Verify deliveries against approved purchase orders, packing lists, and shipping documentation
  • Check part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, batch numbers, shelf life, and certification documents (e.g., Airworthiness Certificates, EASA Form 1, FAA 8130-3)
  • Inspect received items for damage, defects, contamination, or non-conformance
  • Ensure all received materials meet regulatory, quality, and airworthiness standards
  • Record received items accurately in inventory/ERP systems
  • Maintain proper documentation and traceability records for all received goods
  • Label and identify parts correctly (serviceable, unserviceable, quarantine status)
  • Coordinate proper storage based on handling requirements (temperature control, shelf-life, hazardous materials)
  • Report discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or incorrect documentation
  • Initiate rejection, return, or quarantine procedures for non-compliant items
  • Coordinate with procurement, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues
  • Support inventory control activities including stock counts and audits
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulatory authorities and company policies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage area
  • Apply Dangerous Goods (DG) handling procedures, ensuring compliance with IATA, ICAO, and company DG regulations
