Position Summary
The Facility Maintenance Operator is responsible for the overall maintenance of the working space for the business, cleaning the facility offices, restrooms, partial areas of the hangar, removing debris, and keeping all areas neat and tidy.
Work Schedule & Compensation
This is a part time position working 22 hours per week, the schedule will be as follows;
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
10am-2pm 10am-2pm 10am-2pm 10am-2pm Off Off 12pm-6pm
The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $19.00-$20.00 hourly which is equivalent to $39,520- $41,600 annually, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and irrigation systems
- Ability to perform other tasks as assigned
- Willingness to work flexible hours — rain or shine.
- Must obtain an Airport ID Badge within 30 days of employment
Main Responsibilities
- Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities
- Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs
- Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance
- Contacts and coordinates contractors as required for some servicing and repairs
- Performs or contracts scheduled and unscheduled GSE maintenance
- Makes sure facility permits are current
- Manages facility maintenance inspection program and ensures inspections are C/W in a timely manner to maintain compliance with company policy and local regulations.
- Responds to tenants needs in a professional manner
- Maintains appearance of the facility at all times
- Makes sure all systems work properly
- Represent Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies and the General Dynamics network

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasional high volume when aircrafts arrive/depart. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace. Employee must be willing and able to work in all types of weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. The Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons of the year.
