Position Summary


This position is responsible for carrying out work related to the removal, installation, maintenance repair and modification of aircraft cabin systems and components, typically water, waste and environmental within an aircraft P145 environment, to high degrees of accuracy and quality in compliance with budget, safety, and on-time delivery objectives.

Your mission

 

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team, taking ownership of the quality of products and workmanship delivered.
  • Manufacture, repair, modify, remove, or install highly complex piping parts according to technical specifications, using standard tooling, machinery, and tube-bending tools.
  • Assemble and install advanced systems (e.g., water systems, oxygen, high-pressure hydraulics) subassemblies and main assemblies in line with released documentation and standards, both for new installations and retrofits.
  • Complete all required paperwork and digital administration for planned tasks, rectification actions, Additional Work Requirement (AWR) proposals, fabrication, installation, and testing.
  • Consult and apply aircraft manuals (AMM, IPC, CMM, SPM, EO’s, SB’s, Jet Drawings) as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication with team leads and other disciplines, supporting multiple projects in parallel.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with relevant documentation, standards, and processes, meeting agreed timelines and escalating constraints or potential delays where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interface departments on technical issues, proposed amendments, and product improvements.
  • Maintain full traceability of work and task completion.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the work environment.
  • Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Your profile

 

  • Ability to order consumable parts in SAP in accordance with DWGs and IPC.
  • Meets requirements for Workshop Technician (internal Level I).
  • Solid technical knowledge in systems such as water, oxygen, air conditioning, humidifiers, and ventilation.
  • Able to work autonomously on projects involving installation and modification tasks.
  • Proficient English skills (B1minimum) must be able to read and understand engineering data and maintenance instructions in English. Additional languages (French and/or German) are a plus.
  • Skilled in using aircraft databases (OMM/AMM/CMM/IPC).
  • Familiar with aviation authority procedures and processes (FOCA, EASA, FAA, etc.).
