Position Summary

 

Join our Cabinet Shop at Jet Aviation, to contribute to the creation of innovative interior designs for luxury aircraft, which are as functional as they are elegant. The cabinet maker team’s journey is to manufacture monuments, whether new parts or to refurbish monuments, as per the design and engineering requirements. Finishes integration and covering with the finest materials is then carried out before going to the finishing shop.

As a Workshop Team Leader for our Cabinet Shop, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of skilled production technicians, guiding them in creating and assembling monuments with precision and excellence. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your mission

 

  • Lead a team of technicians to ensure the manufacturing and finishing of monuments.
  • Achieve objectives and goals set by the superior, within budget maintaining high standards of quality. 
  • Allocate resources effectively by distributing tasks according to team members’ qualifications and skills.
  • Execute and adapt production plans based on project timelines and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address issues, modifications, and product development & prototyping. 
  • Interpret Design Material Specifications and 3D/2D engineering data.
  • Enforce 5S and EHS policies within the workshop within the shop.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
  • Foster job skill development and personal growth within the team.
  • Prepare documents for tools, hardware, and material orders for the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated Leadership skills with capability to guide up to 6-8 employees. 
  • Experience and knowledge in ceiling-related activities.
  • Has demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Knowledge and understanding of aviation documentation and production processes (Part 21G 21J – 145 regulations).
  • Ability to read & understand Engineering data (drawings & processes).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and 3D / 2D design software.
  • Proactive, forward thinking, and self-motivated team player. 
  • Good command of English, minimum B1 (B2 preferred) / with ability to read and understand maintenance tasks in English manuals.
