Position Summary
At Jet Aviation, we are committed to delivering excellence in aviation services worldwide. As a Logistics Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations while leading and developing a high-performing team. We are looking for a hands-on, experienced logistics professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic, international environment.
Your role
- Lead and develop the logistics team: Train, guide, and motivate team members while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Drive performance and growth: Set team objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback and coaching to support development.
- Coordinate logistics activities: Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned operations.
- Ensure operational versatility: Oversee all key logistics areas including incoming goods, warehousing, shipping, and internal transport.
- Optimize workflows: Implement and maintain efficient logistics processes, aiming to reduce constraints and increase overall throughput.
- Promote continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement and support initiatives such as 5S and other lean practices.
- Maintain accurate documentation: Ensure traceability and proper handling for all inbound and outbound shipments, including sensitive materials.
- Ensure compliance and safety: Enforce Jet Aviation procedures, aviation regulations, and E&HS standards across all logistics activities.
- Resolve issues proactively: Address logistics challenges and escalate supply chain disruptions in a timely and solution-oriented manner.
- Support audits and inspections: Prepare for and assist during audits by aviation authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Material handling: Transport goods using forklifts and other equipment for efficient warehouse management.

Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in physical logistics within a large, technical or aerospace-focused environment.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar work environment.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, dangerous goods handling, and aviation-related regulations.
- Familiarity with material compliance and regulatory documentation in aerospace.
- Solid IT skills, especially in SAP (R/3 or S4) and MS Office tools.
- Fluent in English; French and/or German are a plus.
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to interpret KPIs and propose effective actions.
- Flexibility and proactivity, demonstrating openness to new tasks and responsibilities.
