Position Summary

Join Jet Aviation’s innovative and evolving Business Jet Completion Line as a Supervisor, where you will lead and coordinate a skilled team of Electricians and Cabin Installation Technicians. You will ensure the flawless execution of complex aircraft completion projects by managing daily workflows, maintaining the highest quality standards, and fostering collaboration with engineers, quality inspectors, and suppliers. Your leadership will be key to delivering projects on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Your role

 

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of up to 18 technicians, creating a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Task Management: Assign daily work, monitor progress, and verify that tasks meet Jet Basel’s quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Liaise with engineers, quality inspectors, and suppliers to support smooth project execution.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all work aligns with Tier 4, Project Work Breakdown Structure, and Earned Value guidelines.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the work area; enforce environmental and safety regulations.
  • Issue Escalation: Serve as the primary contact for escalating issues and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders.
  • Resource & Time Management: Evaluate workloads and schedules to optimize team productivity and meet deadlines.
  • Communication & Development: Conduct regular team discussions focusing on contribution, engagement, and development; provide recognition and feedback.
  • Information Flow: Disseminate company and departmental communications downstream; collect and report team feedback upstream.

Your profile

 

  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively
  • Solid project management background including budgeting, scheduling, and cost control
  • Advanced technical knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance documentation
  • Familiarity with FOCA, EASA, FAA and other regulatory processes
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with SAP ERP or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (B2 level or above); French or German is a plus
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills
