Shift Leader Security

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and customer-oriented Security Shift Leader to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and partners, while supporting continuous improvement across our security operations.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as a professional and approachable point of contact for clients, visitors, employees, public authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the Security Team, promoting collaboration and high performance.
• Ensure security duties are carried out in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and best practices.
• Support the Manager Security / Lead Security Services in developing and implementing initiatives to continuously improve security and safety operations.
• Contribute to the creation, review, and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures.
• Assess team competencies, provide guidance, and support ongoing skills development.
• Ensure effective communication and information flow within the team.
• Provide comprehensive building and premises security, including regular interior and exterior patrols.
• Manage access and egress control to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor, identify, and respond to suspicious persons, packages, or activities.
• Regulate and direct traffic when required.
• Operate and monitor security systems such as access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms and emergency situations (e.g. first aid, firefighting).
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily operations and incident reports.
• Actively support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure EHS requirements are integrated into projects and that contractors comply with site policies at all times.

Your Profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a security role; airport security experience is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to interact professionally and confidently with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• A strong customer-service mindset combined with sound judgment and discretion.
• Fluency in French and English; German is a plus.
• The role requires availability to work on a shift basis from Monday to Sunday
• A clean criminal background check. 
• A valid driving license.
