Position Summary
Are you a decisive aviation leader who thrives under pressure and knows how to turn critical situations into customer wins? As Senior Manager AOG & Line Maintenance Operations – EMEA, you lead 24/7 regional Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and Line Maintenance operations, ensuring rapid, safe, and cost-effective recovery of grounded aircraft. This is a high-impact leadership role where operational excellence, customer experience, regulatory compliance, and financial performance come together.
You are fully accountable for delivering outstanding support to global customers — on time, on budget, and without compromise on safety.
Your role
- Lead Critical Operations: Drive end-to-end AOG response across EMEA, from engineer dispatch and parts logistics to customs coordination and return-to-service.
- Own Complex Escalations: Act as the senior escalation point for high-impact and time-critical events.
- Deliver Performance That Matters: Monitor and optimize response times, recovery metrics, service levels, and cost control.
- Strengthen the Network: Oversee Line Maintenance stations and proactively assess expansion and capability needs.
- Ensure Compliance Without Compromise: Guarantee adherence to aviation regulations, national authorities, and company safety standards.
- Build High-Performance Teams: Lead, coach, and develop a regional 24/7 operations team, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous growth.
- Drive Commercial Accountability: Set clear sales and margin targets while ensuring accurate quoting, invoicing, and financial closure.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to ensure seamless execution.
- Shape the Future: Champion process improvements, digital tools, KPI transparency, and strategic development initiatives.

Your profile
- 5+ years of leadership experience in aviation, MRO, or production environments
- Proven success managing regional or multi-site teams
- Strong technical aircraft maintenance background
- In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and aviation compliance frameworks
- Experience with SAP ERP (or similar) and project cost control
- Customer-first mindset with strong commercial awareness
- Calm, decisive leader in high-pressure situations
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented
- High ownership, accountability, and integrity
