Senior Contracts Manager

Position Summary
As a Senior Contracts Manager of Jet Aviation, you will be a member of Jet’s Global Law Department team supporting the Global Legal, Contracts & Compliance functions headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. This role will provide direct support to Jet Aviation’s EMEA lines of business and subsidiaries.
Main Responsibilities
• Supports our team by directly negotiating various international contracts for maintenance, aircraft completions, aircraft management, charter, airport leasing, and aircraft financing agreements
• Works closely with our business development team in the preparation of international bid proposals and tenders, memoranda of understanding, letters of intent, and NDA’s
• Evaluates contract terms and conditions and advises others on contractual rights and obligations
• Effectuates amendments to contract terms or contract extensions
• Updates Jet Aviation’s various general terms and conditions templates
• Participates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale of equipment, materials, products, and services
• Supports our corporate governance activities and reviews various entity articles of association
• Supports our EMEA regional M&A diligence and related integration activities
• Assists the Global Compliance function with customer and vendor diligence and related requests.
Minimum Requirements
• A Law Degree from an accredited law school or, alternatively, a bachelor’s or similar four-year degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 6 years of contract management experience.
• Solid understanding and previous experience with United States contract law or, alternatively, Swiss or French contract law
• English fluency, with preferred additional knowledge of legal terminology in French & German
• In depth understanding of the aerospace industry and or similar industries involving work with OEM’s and suppliers
• Experience in French governmental procurement law is highly preferred
