Position Summary


Jet Aviation is a global leader in business aviation, dedicated to excellence in craftsmanship, safety, and customer experience. Within this environment, the Manufacturing Planning Department acts as the key link between Engineering, Production, and Installation, ensuring that design intent is translated into efficient and compliant manufacturing processes.
As a Manufacturing Planner, you review and validate engineering data, transform it into actionable work packages, and define material and traceability requirements. You coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to support smooth execution across production and installation activities.

Your role

  • Transform engineering data: convert engineering bills of material and drawings into a clear, accurate manufacturing bill of material. This includes interpreting technical documentation, identifying manufacturing needs, so production teams can execute efficiently.
  • Material quantification: determine material quantities, check availability against stock, and coordinate ordering needs.
  • Maintain execution documentation: create and update both production routings and installation job cards based on engineering data, ensuring all work packages are accurate, complete, and ready for use by Production and Installation teams.
  • Launch & monitor orders: initiate, track, and coordinate orders in SAP. Ensure alignment with the project master schedule and the capacities and capabilities of the various shops involved.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing and installation activities.
  • Risk & opportunity management: identify potential risks or opportunities affecting project execution and communicate them promptly to maintain project schedule and quality target.
  • Manage engineering changes: coordinate the implementation of design changes during manufacturing and installation phases. Ensure updates are integrated with minimal disruption to downstream activities.
  • Improve processes & tools: contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support the development of more efficient processes, tools, and methodologies.

Your profile

  • Technical certificate or bachelor’s degree in Production, Manufacturing, or a related field,
  • General knowledge of aviation regulations
  • Experience with PDM/PLM and 3D CAD systems (Smarteam–Catia V5, Teamcenter–NX, AutoCAD); SAP knowledge (modules MM & PP) is an advantage
  • Proficient with MS Office and Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, MS Forms, Power Automate); VBA skills are a plus
  • Strong ability to analyze data, understand complex technical information, and propose practical solutions.
