As a Maintenance Planning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our VIP aircrafts are maintained to the highest standards, from the initial planning stages to project completion. Your role
- Project Preparation: Own the full aircraft project preparation and documentation process in line with Jet Aviation procedures, aviation regulations, and customer requirements.
- Work Package Creation: Build the Part 145 work package (Bill of Work, Materials, Tools) based on the customer’s provided scope.
- Customer Alignment: Collaborate with CAMO, Part M, Operators, and Customer Representatives to confirm and refine the scope of work.
- Internal Coordination: Work closely with internal teams to ensure all tasks are prepared for smooth operational execution.
- Event Support: Support maintenance events from a planning perspective, monitoring progress and communicating status updates to all stakeholders.
- Drop-In Management: Manage short-notice “drop-in” projects from planning to closure, acting as a Project Manager delegate when required.
- Mastering SAP: Establish and manage the scope of work in SAP, overseeing maintenance and refurbishment content from initial receipt to aircraft departure.
- Materials & Tools: Plan, request, and distribute all materials and tooling required for the maintenance event.
- Compliance: Monitor OEM manual revisions and ensure all planning activities remain aligned with current standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Track project performance, resolve issues proactively, and contribute to process and Master Data enhancements.

Your profile
- University degree in Engineering/Aviation or related field, or several years of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Deep understanding of the aerospace industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework
- good experience in planning and preparation (ideally within an aviation environment)
- Proficiency with MS Office packages and SAP
- Good English skills, any other languages are a plus
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
- Strong customer focus and keen understanding of market dynamics
- Results-driven with a high level of personal accountability and a commitment to excellence
