Your Role

• Lead the Basel Continuous Improvement Operating Model: Define and implement the CI framework, governance structure, operating model, and meeting cadence for the Basel site. Establish clear standards, routines, and accountabilities to support sustainable improvement.
• Drive Strategic Prioritization: Partner with Basel leadership to identify and prioritize the most significant efficiency opportunities across departments and value streams, ensuring resources are focused on high-impact initiatives.
• Govern the Improvement Portfolio: Manage the CI pipeline from idea generation and prioritization through implementation, tracking, escalation, and reporting. Provide transparency on progress, risks, savings, and results to support effective leadership decisions.
• Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align stakeholders across Board Member Allocation, Heads of Department, Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, SCM, PRIN, Gulfstream Completions, 145, IT, and other relevant functions. Chair or coordinate the Cross-Functional Improvement Council to align priorities and remove barriers.
• Build CI Capability and Ownership: Establish the framework for selecting, training, coaching, and activating Yellow Belt and Green Belt practitioners. Ensure they are connected to the governance model and equipped to deliver improvements within their areas.
• Embed a Culture of Excellence: Work with leaders to integrate Continuous Improvement into annual objectives, operating routines, and leadership expectations, ensuring ownership remains within the business and is supported by CI specialists.

Who You Are

• Strategic and Cross-Functional Leader: You have a strong background in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, transformation, or a related field. You are experienced in aligning diverse stakeholders around shared priorities.
• Structured and Performance Focused: You bring a disciplined approach to governance, portfolio management, performance tracking, and escalation. You can translate operational data into clear priorities and communicate progress, risks, savings, and outcomes to senior leaders.
• Experienced in Continuous Improvement: You have strong knowledge of CI methodologies, structured problem solving, waste reduction, standards deployment, and process improvement. You understand how to embed sustainable improvements into daily operations.
• Influential and Collaborative: You build trust and gain commitment without direct authority. As a confident communicator and facilitator, you bring clarity to complex topics and create alignment across functions.
• Passionate About Developing People: You have experience building capability through training, coaching, or belt-based practitioner models and can turn CI principles into practical tools and behaviors.
• Resilient and Change Oriented: You maintain momentum through complexity, competing priorities, and resistance to change, with a clear focus on measurable and sustainable results.
