Position Summary

We are looking for a technically minded stundent with a passion for mechanical design and a keen eye for detail. You should be able to conceptualize complex assemblies and translate 3D and CAD data into clear, accurate illustrations. 

Your Role

  • Support the creation of Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) and supplements in accordance with ATA chapters
  • Assist in maintaining internal documentation standards and procedures
  • Independently generate parts lists based on design data and airworthiness requirements
  • Create isometric illustrations from engineering drawings and CAD models
  • Interpret and apply engineering documentation (e.g., mechanical/electrical drawings, service bulletins)
  • Contribute to reporting and tracking tools for illustration progress
  • Revise illustrations based on design changes and feedback
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., technical design, industrial design, mechanical engineering or similar). Matriculation throughout the internship is required. 
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with tools such as IsoDraw, AutoCAD, TeamCenter, Arbortext Editor, NX, and TC Viewer is an advantage (training will be provided)
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
