Position Summary
Join our Cabinet Shop at Jet Aviation, to contribute to the creation of innovative interior designs for luxury aircraft, which are as functional as they are elegant. The cabinet maker team’s journey is to manufacture monuments, whether new parts or to refurbish monuments, as per the design and engineering requirements. Finishes integration and covering with the finest materials is then carried out before going to the finishing shop.
As a GAC Integration Shop Manager for our Cabinet Shop, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of skilled production technicians, guiding them in creating and assembling monuments with precision and excellence. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Your mission
- Lead and Oversee Integration Shop Projects: Manage daily project activities, ensuring execution aligns with budget, schedule, and Jet Aviation quality standards while coordinating with engineering and shop supervisors.
- Resource Planning & Team Coordination: Review manpower needs, conduct hiring sessions, and develop weekly plans that balance workload, budget, and scope changes.
- Maintain Project Visibility and Reporting: Keep integration shop T4 and PCI monitoring files current, and deliver accurate status updates to the Project Production Manager.
- Track Project Performance Metrics: Monitor earned value and capacity (CAPA), update E‑ETC and WBS from project inception, and take corrective action on deviations proactively.
- Manage Task Progress and Closure in SAP: Initiate and follow up on project tasks, ensuring timely updates and finalization within SAP.
- Facilitate Daily Operations: Lead morning stand-up meetings to align team actions and escalate critical issues to internal stakeholders.
- Drive Process Improvement and Lean Practices: Develop and enhance workflows, implement 5S, and elevate team competence to continuously improve shop efficiency.
- Ensure Safety, Security, and Compliance: Supervise shop safety, area cleanliness, and adherence to aviation regulations (FOCA, EASA, FAA), internal documentation (AMM, IPC, DWGs), and implement audit corrective actions.
- Motivate and Develop the Team: Lead, instruct, and inspire team members to reach peak performance, supporting skills development and professional growth.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Engage with internal customers—engineering, other shops, departments—to align on deliverables, escalate risks, and ensure smooth project integration.

Your profile
- Completed apprenticeship with appropriate educational qualifications or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-year experience in aviation industry
- Knowledge and understanding of aviation documentation and production processes (Part 21G 21J – 145 regulations)
- Proactive, highly flexible, ability to work and stay calm under pressure., and self-motivated team player
- Fluency in English, minimum C1 (C2 preferred) / with ability to read and understand maintenance tasks in English manuals
